Lance Bass, the former NSYNC singer, has taken down a viral TikTok video reenacting a portion of Amber Heard’s defamation trial with her ex-husband Johnny Depp.

Bass acted out the Aquaman actress’ statement about the first time Depp attacked her in a video posted to the platform on Monday (16 May).

As Bass reenacted the incident in his living room, Heard’s commented in the recorded voiceover, “At this point, we’re sitting next to each other on the edge of the couch.”

Although the video was removed from his page, others were able to obtain it and reshare it.

Others chastised the musician for appearing to belittle Heard’s claimed mistreatment at the hands of her ex-husband.

One wrote: “There will be a reckoning about how many people are acting in a couple years. Truly disgusting.”

“Make him irrelevant forever,” posted one person. “What a tool. Sick and phony why they all mock Amber (a woman) and never the man… misogyny,” another added.

A third wrote: “No one does any of this when a male celeb is believed by the masses to he an abuser… I wonder why?. This is really just a “burn the witch” moment for society, and it’s disgusting.”

Depp is seeking $50 million in damages for his mental health and career. This is in response to Heard’s op-ed in the Washington Post in 2018, in which she claimed to have been a victim of abuse without naming names.

Depp’s lawyer has also questioned Heard’s testimony, which outlined the former couple’s tumultuous relationship and claimed physical altercations, including the bloody altercation in Australia.

Heard has also been removed from the Aquaman sequel, according to a petition. The petition had around 4.5 million signatures as of Tuesday (17 May).

Heard is suing for $100 million, saying that Depp’s lawyer, Adam Waldman, defamed her by calling her allegations a “hoax.”
