Madonna spoke out after receiving backlash for releasing ‘creepy’ NFT videos in collaboration with a digital artist for his Mother of Creation collection.

Netizens labelled the 63-year-old singer “desperate for attention” soon after she stepped into the world of Non-fungible tokens with her bizarre 3D videos, according to The Mirror.

Madonna, on the other hand, appears unfazed after causing a Twitter frenzy when she told digital artist Mike Winkelmann, aka Beeple, “I’m doing what women have been doing since the beginning of time, which is giving birth.”

“However, on a more existential level, I’m giving birth to art and creativity, and we’d be lost without both,” she adds.

“I think it’s really important that these videos were created with a lot of thought and conversation,” Madonna said.
