Selena Gomez 29-year-old pop diva and businesswoman announced on Thursday that she will collaborate with fashionable cookware company Our Place on a cookware collection, with a percentage of the revenues going to her Rare Impact Fund.

Gomez’s additions to Our Place’s Essentials Collection include the brand’s distinctive “Always Pan” and “Perfect Pot,” as well as a knife trio, drinking glasses, main plates, and side plates in two brand-new limited edition colours: Azul (meaning blue in Spanish) and Rosa (means rich, vibrant berry pink) (aka pink in Spanish).

Our Place CEO Shiza Shahid and Gomez bonded over their common idea that people can come together and connect with their ancestry via home cooked meals, according to a news statement.

On multiple seasons of her HBO Max food programme, Selena + Chef, which was developed during the early days of pandemic lockdown, the Only Murders in the Building actress shows off her culinary abilities.

Aarón Sánchez, Ayesha Curry, Esther Choi, Fabio Viviani, Gabe Kennedy, Jamie Oliver, Kwame Onwuachi, Padma Lakshmi, Richard Blais, and Sophia Roe were among the celebrity chefs that joined Gomez in the third season.

She told PEOPLE in August 2020,”I found myself cooking more just as a result of being home over the last six months,” added, “I thought I was a decent cook before, but doing the show was definitely humbling — I realized I didn’t know as much as I thought I did.”

The Rare Impact Fund has established a target of raising $100 million over the next decade to fund groups seeking to enhance access to mental health care in schools.
