Chris Pratt’s Star Trek and Avatar auditions were terrible . The actor appeared in Jurassic World Dominion. Since its opening, its box office has plummeted. It’s made $657 million worldwide.

Now, he’ll play Star-Lord in Thor: Love and Thunder. Taika Waititi’s film will feature a few GOTG characters. It’s Thor’s fourth solo MCU adventure and just debuted.

Chris Pratt appeared on the SmartLess podcast and talked about his Avatar and Star Trek auditions. It was so far off that it demoralised Pratt and made him question his acting potential.

Chris Pratt went on to discuss his Avatar audition in more detail, stating, “I just remember reading this character description, and it was like, ‘he walks in and he has the it factor’. So I was feeling, you know, a little bit overweight. I wasn’t really taking care of myself physically, and I was in a relationship where we were, you know, drinking a lot, “the Parks and Recreations star continued. “I walked in, and I started sweating immediately, and it was a casting assistant.”

“She just looked at me, and she just pressed record, and she just started doing her stuff while I was reading with her other casting assistant. “I saw that there was literally nothing about my audition that was compelling at all,” continued Pratt.

Pratt auditioned for Star Trek’s Kirk and Avatar’s Sully. Chris got roles in the MCU and Jurassic World, but not the two biggest franchises. Chris Pratt is also in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 and the Holiday Special.
