As Lollapalooza founder, Perry Farrell, stated in a statement, “I’m happy to welcome J-Hope and Tomorrow x Together into the Lollapalooza family.”

Added, “These artists have been given great gifts in communication. Their global audience speak different languages but possess an intense passion for their music. Lolla is the place where all music genres live in harmony. These are the superstars of the global phenomenon of K-Pop, and we are so excited to have them at this year’s festival.”

J-Hope will perform alongside headliners Metallica, Dua Lipa, J. Cole, and Green Day, as well as sets by Kygo, Big Sean, Jazmine Sullivan, Don Toliver, Charli XCX, Idles, Turnstile, and more. On its Twitter feed, the festival also recently provided a complete schedule of events.

J-Hope and Tomorrow x Together’s additions come as Doja Cat has had to postpone numerous summer festival appearances, including Lollapalooza and her stint with The Weeknd’s tour, owing to throat issues. On May 20, the singer explained her absence on Twitter, stating that she would be undergoing tonsil surgery and would require time to recover.

Last year, Lollapalooza was held at Grant Park, and it was one of the first major festivals to reopen following the pandemic’s shutdowns.
