The first trailer came out on Tuesday evening (Pacific Standard Time) as a surprise, and franchise star Jamie Lee Curtis told fans about it just a few minutes before it went online. Curtis wrote on Twitter, “Laurie always says… DO AS I SAY! (sic)”.
“Halloween Ends” is the 13th film in the series and the fourth in the timeline set by 2018’s “Halloween,” which ignored every other film in the series except for John Carpenter’s 1978 original.
The media says that Jamie Lee Curtis has played Laurie Strode again in the trilogy. Laurie Strode is a survivor of Michael Myers’ (played by Nick Castle and stuntman James Jude Courtney) first killing spree, and she is now a recluse with PTSD who lives alone. In both the 2018 movie and the 2021 sequel, Laurie worked with her daughter Karen (Judy Greer) and granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak) to stop Myers from attacking Haddonfield, Illinois.
In this one, Curtis and Matichak will play the same characters they played in the last two movies. Will Patton, Kyle Richards, and Omar Dorsey will also play the same roles they did in the first two movies. Michael O’Leary will be a new member of the cast.
