Freddy, starring Kartik Aaryan, receives a new teaser loaded with bloodshed and violence.

First time ever, Kartik appears in an altogether new role. The thirty-second clip contains images of bloodshed, violence, and murder.

The teaser suggests that Freddy (Kartik) and Kainaaz (Alaya) are a couple with wedding plans. However, Alaya is already married to a violent man. In the teaser, Kartik is depicted in his menacing form, while Alaya is chained to his dental chair.

When asked about his role in the film, the actor Luka Chuppi stated, “Freddy was a complex script and character, the prep of the role had to be done physically and mentally as well. The character helped explore a different side of my craft and encouraged me to challenge my abilities at every step as an actor. The first time I got the opportunity to explore the dark side of me.”

Meanwhile, Alaya also discussed the picture. She continued, “I was very excited to be a part of Freddy as soon as I heard the story. Kainaaz was a challenging character for me, I had to learn and unlearn a lot of things to get into character.”

Freddy is a film directed by Shahshanka Ghosh that will stream on Disney+ Hotstar on December 2.
