Whitney Houston, whose Grammy-winning, chart-topping career was wrecked by drug addiction and a tumultuous personal life, has died. 48-year-old

A singer’s employee confirmed the story . The singer was pronounced dead at the Beverly Hilton hotel at 3:55 p.m. PT today.
