Eton College has an impressive list of former pupils that includes Prime Ministers, foreign dignitaries, members of the Royal Family, Hollywood actors and well-known authors.

Much like Prince William, it is incredibly likely that Prince George and later Prince Louis will follow in his footsteps and attend Eton College at the age of 13.

The famous school, which charges a whopping £48,501 per year, was founded in 1440 by King Henry VI. Other royal alumni include Prince Harry, Prince William of Gloucester, The Duke of Kent, Sam and Arthur Chatto.

Eton is well-known for its incredible facilities, which include everything a student could want.

There are roughly 40 football/rugby pitches, a 2km rowing lake, 19 cricket pitches, and 50 tennis courts.

In addition to their numerous amenities, the college can boast a number of famous actors as old Etonians, many of whom have spoken out about taking part in school productions and their time there.

There are many to choose from, including Oscar winners, iconic movie supervillains, and actors from Netflix’s The Crown.

The actor previously discussed his time at the prestigious school with Prince William.

“I always felt a bit sorry for him because basically any school you played, all they wanted to do was tackle Prince William and say, ‘I tackled Prince William,'” Eddie said on a US talk show in 2018.

Eddie went on to admit that Prince William being thrown to the floor was kind of good for him – as it made the match “easier”. “So if you were standing next to Prince William, like I was, it was actually quite easy and quite fun,” he continued.
