Merub Ali, a rising star in Lollywood, has drawn notice ever since she announced her engagement to renowned Pakistani musician Asim Azhar.

The pair, who have gained the favour of countless social media users, have been teasing their followers with PDA-heavy photos and appearances on each other’s Instagram accounts. The couple became engaged in March 2022, but they haven’t yet made any further plans public. Ali did, however, disclose the cause of the holdup.

The Parisian actress implied in a recent interview that the couple isn’t hastily getting hitched. According to Ali, neither she nor the famous singer Habibi sees anything wrong with getting married later in life or sooner.

The Wabaal actor clarified that the duo has deferred to the elders of the family rather than taking matters into their own hands despite millions of admirers predicting that they will wed shortly.

The lovebirds are succeeding in their own careers, which may be the reason they are delaying marriage. Ali has recently been spotted at work in Wabaal, Paristan, and Sinf e Aahan.
