  • ‘You’ Season 4 Part 1 will debut on Netflix on February 9, 2023, with Part 2 following a month later.

Netflix has published the official teaser for Season 4 Part 1 of their physiological thriller series ‘You‘, which turns the tables on Penn Badgley’s Joe Goldberg as he becomes the target of a killer in London, only a month before its return.

The brand-new official trailer reintroduces us to Joe Goldberg, an obsessive stalker and serial killer who has taken on numerous aliases over the course of three seasons to escape his past crimes.

Joe has moved from New York to Los Angeles and now finds himself in London as Professor Johnathan Moore, attempting to rebuild his life.

While here, he encounters new and familiar acquaintances, finding himself in the social circle of London’s wealthy and elite, as well as running into Season 3’s Marienne (Tati Gabrielle).

While Joe tries to live his new life, his old “habits” resurface, despite his best efforts to conceal them. The trailer takes a turn when it is revealed that there is another killer in London who targets the wealthy, known as the Eat the Rich Killer, who appears to have picked Joe as his new target after receiving cryptic communications from an unknown watcher.

Based on Caroline Kepnes’ novel series, You premiered on Lifetime in 2017 before being picked up by Netflix in December 2018 for its second season, where it has remained ever since.

The third season debuted on October 15, 2021, and the show was already renewed for a fourth season before the previous season aired. Sera Gamble and Greg Berlanti created You, with Gamble serving as showrunner.

Along with Gina Girolamo, Leslie Morgenstein, Sarah Schechter, and Michael Foley, the team serves as executive producers.

Along with Badgley and Gabrielle, key cast members in the upcoming season include Charlotte Ritchie, Lukas Gage, Ed Speleers, Tilly Keeper, Amy-Leigh Hickman, Niccy Lin, Aidan Cheng, Brad Alexander, Ozioma Whenu, and others.

Gamble, Foley, Leo Richardson, Neil Reynolds, Kara Lee Corthron, Mairin Reed, Justin W. Lo, Amanda Johnson-Zetterström, Dylan Cohen, Hillary Benefiel, Justin Lo, and AB Chao are among the Season 4 writers.

Season lead Badgley is one of the season’s directors, as are John Scott, Shamim Sarif, Harry Jierjian, and Rachel Leiterman.

The season was shot between March 21, 2022, and August 27, 2022, in London, the United Kingdom, Paris, France, and Los Angeles, California.

Berlanti Productions, Alloy Entertainment, and A+E Studios are producing You in conjunction with Warner Horizon Television, now Warner Bros. Television.

‘You’ Season 4 Part 1 will debut on Netflix on Thursday, February 9, 2023, with Part 2 following a month later on Thursday, March 9, 2023.
