After a seven-year break from directing, Karan Johar is prepared to resume his career. His last directorial effort was Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, starring Anushka Sharma, Ranbir Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai. The audience adored the sorrowful love story, despite its modest box office performance. Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt will appear in Karan’s upcoming film Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, which is now scheduled to hit theatres.

Recently, Karan shared a video from Kashmir on his Instagram account, indicating that the film’s shooting period in the region is now complete. Showcasing the raw beauty of Kashmir in all its grandeur, Karan could be seen in parts and pieces in the film, donning a silver puffer jacket, gloves, sunglasses and other winter gear to face the nail biting cold. Karan captioned the video while playing the song Yeh Haseen Vadiyan Yeh Khula Aasman from Roja “Meri sentiments ko samjho, Meri performance pe mat jao. This is Karan Johar saying goodbye to picturesque Kashmir, alongside cameraman @shaunagautam!”

After posting a colourful montage of a few of his films earlier, Karan commented, “Wishing that every shade of colour take over your life with love & success! Happy holi to all from us at Dharma!♥️♥️♥️#happyholi.”
