Brad Pitt has reportedly turned down a multi-million dollar offer to star alongside his ex-wife Angelina Jolie in a film, citing the emotional turmoil their relationship has caused him. A source close to the 60-year-old actor stated, “All the money in the world wouldn’t get Brad to appear in a movie with Angelina ever again. It’s not anything he would ever consider for a moment.”
The estranged couple, whose divorce proceedings have been ongoing since 2016, were approached by producer Danny Rossner to star as an on-screen couple in a new film inspired by the life of hotelier Emmanuel Martinez. Rossner believed the project could encourage Pitt and Jolie to “put their differences aside.”
However, insiders close to Pitt dismissed the idea, calling it a “clever publicity stunt” rather than a genuine offer. “There was never any real offer. They are currently bitter enemies, so there is no way Brad would lower himself to be paid any amount of money to talk to Angie on screen,” the source explained.
The tension between the two Hollywood icons has been a public affair, with Pitt unwilling to revisit a professional relationship due to the “heartache” Jolie has caused him.
