The practise of remaking Hollywood films in Bollywood has been prevalent for some time. 2022 is also an example of this trend. The recently released Laal Singh Chaddha, starring Aamir Khan, is a remake of the 1994 American film Forrest Gump. Hrithik Roshan, Tiger Shroff, and Ranveer Singh are currently being considered for the Hindi remake of Jason Statham’s ‘The Transporter’.
Vishal Rana, co-producer of the Taapsee Pannu film Blurr, revealed in an exclusive report by India Today that his company has acquired the rights to remake the 2002 action-thriller The Transporter. In light of this, Hrithik Roshan, Tiger Shroff, and Ranveer Singh are being considered.
Rana is not a stranger to recreating Hollywood films. Recently, ZEE5 broadcast his Hindi remake of the Spanish film Julia’s Eyes, titled Blurr.
