As iconic as she was on screen, she was an even more amazing mother and grandmother.”
“Our mother’s zeal and passion for life, her children, grandkids, and her numerous animals, not to mention her unending delight of creation, were unsurpassed and leave us encouraged to live life to the fullest just as she did,” William and Lillie continued.

“Dear Kirstie, I am so grateful for our years together, and for the two incredibly beautiful children and now grandchildren that we have,” the 70-year-old Baywatch alum wrote via Instagram on December 5, alongside an old photo of the two together. “You will be missed. With love, Parker.”
Alley and Parker also have three grandkids together in addition to their two children. The former member of Fat Actress previously referred to herself as “Gammy” in posts on social media concerning young children.
Numerous of her previous co-stars paid tribute to the Look Who’s Talking actress after her passing. In his December 6 tribute, Alley’s co-star from It Takes Two Steve Guttenberg recalled “her generosity of the tangible” and “her soulfulness,” adding, “The world seems a bit empty without Kirstie.”
In the Look Who’s Talking movie series, John Travolta, who starred opposite Alley, wrote: “Kirstie was one of the most precious partnerships I’ve ever had.”
Ted Danson, who played Alley’s co-star on the television series Cheers, told Deadline an emotional anecdote following the actress’ passing.
“I was on a plane today and did something I rarely do. I watched an old episode of Cheers. It was the episode where Tom Berenger proposes to Kirstie, who keeps saying no, even though she desperately wants to say yes. Kirstie was truly brilliant in it,” the Good Place alum told the outlet. “Her ability to play a woman on the verge of a nervous breakdown was both moving and hysterically funny. She made me laugh 30 years ago when she shot that scene, and she made me laugh today just as hard. As I got off the plane, I heard that Kirstie had died. I am so sad and so grateful for all the times she made me laugh. I send my love to her children. As they well know, their mother had a heart of gold. I will miss her.”
