Five months after the Texas native first showed off her baby bulge, the news broke. The “My Church” singer captioned her October 2019 announcement: “The irony is just too delicious that after a year of living in the “GIRL” headspace, the world would send us a baby boy to square things out.” We’ll talk again in 2020, little one.

The following month, the native of Michigan raved in an exclusive interview with Us Weekly about how “proud” he was of the Grammy winner. “This year has been so amazing for her and then to also be able to talk about the baby news, it’s just been so special all around,” he said at the time.

“I definitely have to walk downstairs to get the ice cream now and take it back when we’re done,” Hurd went on to tell Us of pampering his pregnant wife. “I found out you’re supposed to do, like, a push present? So I’m figuring that thing out. I don’t know, I really am so new at this.”

Morris and the “Every Other Memory” singer wed in Nashville in March 2018 but at first, kept their nuptials apart. Hurd said to Us in March 2019 that “We do a really good job of continuously staying in touch, tonnes of FaceTime.” The fact that we still work for the same management makes it much easier for our schedules to align.
