Chris Evans, Jeremy Renner’s pal, will always be there for him. Shortly after Renner, 52, wrote on social media that he was recovering from his snowplow accident and had an optimistic attitude moving forward, Evans, 41, responded to his Marvel co-star in a humorous manner.

After Renner shared a picture of himself lying in a bed undergoing what seemed to be physical treatment, Evans commented, “That’s one tough mf’er.” After that, he questioned whether anyone had even checked on the snowcat, a PistenBully that had been involved in Renner’s mishap.

The Lightyear actor added a single red heart emoji and said, “Sending so much love,” before signing off.

Renner responded by demonstrating that his sense of humor hasn’t changed since his injury by writing to Evans: “I love you, dude. The snowcat requires gasoline, according to my check.”

On January 1, Renner was driven over by a “very enormous piece of snow-removal equipment” he owned and was taken by helicopter to a nearby hospital. In the days following the tragedy, according to his representatives and Washoe County Sheriff Darin Balaam, the mishap happened as he cleared his driveway and assisted his neighbors with snow removal.

According to a statement from his agent, the Mayor of Kingstown actor sustained “blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries” and needed emergency surgery the next day.

While on the mend, Renner still has “a long road to recovery,” according to a source close to the actor.

The insider stated, “Jeremy is making good improvement,” echoing Kym Renner, who previously told the press that The Avengers actor was “busting all development targets.”

Renner provided details of his ongoing recuperation in his most recent Instagram post.

“Resolutions and early morning workouts have both changed this particular New Year’s. Born out of a catastrophe that affected my entire family and soon concentrated on bringing people together in love, “He composed.

The actor then expressed his desire “to express my gratitude for everyone’s kind words and concern for my family and I. Much love and gratitude to you all, with the added assurance, that “These 30 or more fractured bones will heal and become stronger, just like the love and connection with family and friends grows stronger. All of you are in my thoughts and prayers.”

Prior to that, Renner revealed in another social media post that he had made his first trip back to his Nevada home since the tragedy.

In response to a tweet about the season two premiere of his Paramount+ series from the Mayor of Kingstown’s Twitter account, Renner said he was able to watch the new episode with his family at home. He wrote, “Outside my brain fog in recovery, I was very excited to watch episode 201 with my family at home.”
