Dance competition So You Think You Can On Saturday, January 14, alum, 28, posted a cute Instagram Story video of Chmerkovskiy, 36, rocking the infant. The pair’s son was cradled by the two-time mirror ball champion in the black and white clip. The couple’s newborn child was wrapped in a soft blanket and wore a fitting cap on his head. He was born earlier this week.

“🤍,” Johnson captioned her social media upload.

The Utah native gave birth on January 10 after revealing the married couple’s first pregnancy in July 2022. On January 11, the couple, who wed in 2019, shared a photo of themselves holding the baby while writing on Instagram, “Our world is forever changed.”

Quickly sending their well congratulations to the new three-person family were Johnson and the other DWTS contestants who are friends with the Ukraine native.

“I adore you, beautiful boy!” The woman who responded was Lindsay Arnold, who is currently expecting a second daughter with her husband Sam Cusick.

Tom Bergeron, a former program presenter, added: “Congratulations! You two are starting the most fruitful dance of them all.

Johnson previously forecasted how the Jo + Jax designer and the Fuller House alum would adjust to raising their baby. Currently, they are transitioning into motherhood for the first time.

“I already know that it’s gonna be good cop, bad cop and I’m gonna be the bad cop. I know [Val’s] gonna give into everything and be such a little sucker,” the new mom exclusively told Us Weekly in September 2022. “He’s gonna be very involved. He wants to style him. They’re gonna have matching outfits. We’ve already gone there.”

She added at the time: “Just knowing how to raise them in this world [is worrisome]. It’s a crazy time. I even have a hard time navigating it myself. So just being the best mother and nurturer and guide that I can be [is the priority]. Do I have all the tools? Do I know what to tell them in certain situations?”

Prior to her first pregnancy, Johnson, who has not revealed the name of the child she and Chmerkovskiy have had, grappled with past fertility issues. She admitted through Instagram in July 2022 that it had been “heart-wrenching at moments to stay optimistic and made me question whether I would ever have this opportunity” after two years of infertility and hundreds of negative tests after negative tests.
