BTS icon Jung Kook is taking his partnership with Calvin Klein into a whole new lane, officially stepping from global ambassador to creative co-designer for a limited-edition capsule collection that is already generating massive buzz across fashion and fan communities.

Moving beyond traditional celebrity endorsement, Jung Kook has been directly involved in the design process, shaping a 20-piece collection that reflects his signature “rebellious” vibe, street-style edge, and global pop influence. The collaboration introduces a fresh co-branded identity, marked with the logo “CKJK EST. 2026,” signaling a bold new chapter for both the artist and the brand.

The drop features a curated mix of denim fits and streetwear essentials, inspired by Calvin Klein’s iconic 1990s archive but reimagined through a modern, Gen Z-coded aesthetic. The lineup includes oversized and baggy denim silhouettes, straight and low-rise cuts, graphic tees, sweatshirts, and racer jackets, all detailed with distressed finishes and racing-inspired accents.

Jung Kook reportedly played an active role in refining the collection from selecting denim washes to adjusting fits and adding subtle personal touches including hidden embroidered signatures placed across select pieces turning the drop into a true fan-culture collectible moment.

To build hype Calvin Klein is rolling out a full-scale promotional campaign highlighting Jung Kook’s creative direction. Early access pre-sales for registered “My Calvins” members will go live on May 20, creating a limited-window, high-demand release strategy aimed at driving global excitement.

The official launch is set for calvinklein.com at 6 p.m. ET, followed by in-store availability the next day. Exclusive pieces, including limited-edition underwear, will be stocked at flagship stores in New York, Tokyo, and Paris, alongside pop-up activations across Los Angeles, Thailand, Australia, China, Singapore, and Taiwan.

Calvin Klein’s global brand president David Savman described the collaboration as a seamless blend of Jung Kook’s cultural influence and the brand’s timeless DNA, calling it fresh, personal, and highly relevant to today’s fashion landscape.

With BTS’s global fanbase expected to drive massive demand, the Jung Kook x Calvin Klein capsule is already shaping up to be one of the most hyped fashion drops of the year.
