Dating rumors between Jungkook and Winter sparked after fans noticed matching tattoos.

While the speculation remains unconfirmed, a new aspect of the drama emerged when posts surfaced alleging that Jungkook had abandoned Bam after his military discharge in June. The claims suggested that despite his return, Bam remained at a training camp, leading to concerns over his care.

The controversy reignited Jungkook’s 2023 statement, where he explained his decision to temporarily leave Bam in the care of others due to his busy schedule and frequent travels.

Jungkook shared, “I found a place that can take care of Bam through acquaintances, and Bam seems to be doing much better there. On one hand, I feel like in instances where I can’t take care of Bam, it would be better to have them take care of Bam, with me coming by often. As you all know, I’ve been busy lately and going overseas, so I honestly can’t take care of Bam properly. Thankfully, Bam doesn’t have anxiety about being away from me and likes the people who are taking care of him; he has lots of friends there.”

He continued, “So, what I’m trying to say is that if you want to raise a dog but don’t have the means, then don’t bring one home. Now that I’ve experienced it, it really isn’t something you should do to a dog. So, although I feel really bad, I’m thankful that he is always bright even though I can’t be there often.”

Despite his explanation, many fans have criticized Jungkook’s decision, accusing him of neglect.

One fan expressed frustration, writing, “Jungkook, why don’t you bring Bam home? He brings his childhood friend, his aunt, and even his girlfriend home, but he hasn’t brought Bam, who’s like a son to him? What are you doing?”

Another post read, “This has been a mystery for such a long time. Why is Bam being kept away when Jungkook has always claimed he’s like family?”

Bam, who gained fame after appearing on BTS’s In the Soop Season 2, has a dedicated fan following, with an Instagram account dedicated to his updates. Despite Jungkook’s own Instagram deactivation, Bam’s account remains active and loved by fans.

The ongoing drama highlights the intense scrutiny celebrities face, even in matters as personal as pet care. While some view Jungkook’s actions as neglect, others understand the complexities of his situation.

Ultimately, it’s essential to respect his decision and acknowledge the challenges of pet care for someone with a demanding lifestyle like Jungkook.
