After months of anticipation, Lana Del Rey is ready to thrill fans once again with a bold and cinematic return.

Known for her haunting vocals and baroque-pop mastery, the singer has teased what could be one of her most ambitious releases yet, sparking excitement across social media.

Fans now have a reason to celebrate: Del Rey has announced her upcoming single, “White Feather Hawk Tail Deer Hunter,” which she describes as her favourite track from her long-delayed album, “Stove.”

The announcement came on Saturday, February 7, through an Instagram Stories video in which Del Rey spoke directly to her followers. She confirmed that the single will be released on the 17th, widely assumed to be in February.

The track was produced by Drew Erickson and Jack Antonoff, who, according to Del Rey, “finally found that magical chord I was missing.” It was co-written with her husband Jeremy Dufrene, her brother-in-law, and her sister Caroline “Chuck” Grant, while mixing was handled by Dean Reid and Laura Sisk.

Del Rey also revealed that the music video has already been filmed. “We created the video ourselves, but editing and finalizing it takes hours,” she added.

The singer also hinted that her tenth studio album could be released soon, with vinyl production timelines cited as the main factor for the delay. “I know you’re asking about the record. Honestly, it’s coming soon. Vinyl takes three months three months plus two weeks, give or take,” she said.

With the single and video on the horizon, fans are eagerly counting down for what promises to be a majestic and cinematic comeback from one of pop’s most enigmatic voices.
