The royals did not mention anything negative during their brief encounter, thus Prince Harry and Meghan’s journey to the UK remained cloaked in secret. Their contacts with the Queen and Prince Charles were seen as a peace-offering gesture.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex stopped in for a year on Thursday their way to the Netherlands. The pair also got the opportunity to meet the future king, who was in attendance at St George’s Chapel with Camilla for the annual Maundy Thursday ceremony.
Their encounter with the Prince of Wales was said to have started at 10 a.m. and lasted around 15 minutes. According to a source, the royals have said nothing about the Duke’s planned biography or the Sussexes’ explosive Oprah appearance. The meeting’s main emphasis was Lilibet and Archie.
Due to several essential commitments during their key visit to the UK, Prince William and Kate Middleton apparently did not have the opportunity to spend time with the Sussexes.
