Quaid e Azam’s great granddaughter Ella Wadia debuts at Le Bal

Quaid e Azam

Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah, the founder of Pakistan and the nation’s revered father, had a personal life filled with challenges.

He had only one child, Dina Wadia, and their relationship publicly fractured when she fell in love with Neville Wadia, a Parsi businessman. Despite Jinnah’s disapproval, the couple married in 1938.

Bombay 1938- Dina Jinnah marries Neville Wadia at All Saints church, India.

Dina Wadia had two children, Nusli Wadia and Diana Wadia, making Jinnah the grandfather of Ness Wadia and Jehangir Wadia.

Now, Jehangir Wadia’s daughter, Ella Wadia, has made her glamorous debut at France’s prestigious Le Bal des Débutantes, with photos quickly going viral across social media.

However, the online community has reacted strongly to reports labeling Ella Wadia as Mohammad Ali Jinnah’s great-great-granddaughter, citing the historical rift between Jinnah and his daughter Dina.

This backlash reflects the public’s awareness of the strained relationship between Pakistan’s founding father and his only child.
