Ryan Reynolds, 46, shared a picture of himself working out for the movie that had been released by his trainer Don Saladino on Friday, February 3rd, 2023. He may be seen in the photo holding two 60 lb. barbells, one in each hand, and flexing his muscles. On his Instagram story, Reynolds stated, “I am not in training for Deadpool. I am preparing to work with @thehughjackman for several months, but he is not as kind as everyone thinks.
Jackman, 54, couldn’t help but come up with a quip of his own as he reposted his story and added a sticker with ‘ur cute’ written on a heart. The actors revealed that Jackman’s Wolverine would return in the much awaited Deadpool 3 in September 2022.
Since the announcement, the actors have maintained their amusing rivalry, which is based on Deadpool and Wolverine, two of their characters. According to Jackman, the two Marvel superheroes “detest each other” and “are opposites” in the next sequel.
