LAHORE: Legendary Pakistani singer Attaullah Esakhelvi and his son, rising star Sanwal Esakhelvi, have delighted music fans with a special New Year release, presenting a reimagined version of the iconic 1970s song “Bewafa.”
Originally one of Attaullah Esakhelvi’s signature hits, the song features poignant lyrics in Urdu and Saraiki. The refreshed version preserves the classic emotion and simplicity while incorporating modern music arrangements and contemporary visuals, creating a bridge between two generations of music lovers.
The song’s co-production and lyrics also showcase the creative contribution of Unknownish Artist, whose work played a key role in giving the track a modern touch for today’s audience.
