Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is still months away, but the excitement is already building! The follow-up to the Academy Award-winning Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse appears to have a lot of promise thanks to the abundance of Spider-People, the promise of interdimensional travel, and the general eagerness to see Miles’ journey reach new heights.
The animated franchise is so well-liked among fans for a variety of reasons, including its impressive aesthetics, character designs, animation techniques, and epic music, to mention a few.
The writing and producing team behind the film, Phil Lord and Chris Miller, suggested that Metro Boomin will provide the soundtrack for the sequel in a new teaser shared by the film’s official Twitter account.

Hailee Steinfeld, who plays the character Gwen in the film, asks the duo about the soundtrack of the sequel because Post Malone’s song “Sunflower” from the first film was so well-liked by viewers. “That’s a high bar to clear,” Lord agrees adding “so for this next movie we brought in some reinforcements.”
Miller adds, “This time we are working with legendary Metro Boomin.” He added, “If anybody is going to be able to make something that feels like it’s Miles’ experience, that guy knows what he’s doing.”
The gloomy production style of Metro Boomin (real name Leland Tyler Wayne), which has had a significant impact on contemporary hip hop and trap, is well-known.
After producing the song “Tuesday” by iLoveMakonnen and Drake, which peaked at number 12 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, he became well-known.
