A royal expert has criticised Prince Harry and Meghan Markle after they paid their first visit to the Queen in two years yesterday

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge smiled and waved to startled guests at Windsor for the customary Maundy Thursday service as they stopped by on their route to the Invictus Games in Holland.

When questioned by Adil Ray of Positive Morning Britain if the Sussexes’ visit to the queen was a “good thing,” royal historian Angela Levin answered, “I’m not sure that it is, I think you have to be very careful not to leap to conclusions.”

“I believe the Queen and Prince Charles have missed them greatly, and as a result, they might wrap them around their tiny fingers and utilise them commercially as they did in the past.” I believe it has something to do with their failure to attend Prince Philip’s funeral ceremony and seeing how the people reacted to that; the reaction was negative, and they can’t afford to lose that exposure.”

The pair also saw Prince Charles during their quick stay at Windsor Castle, their first visit to the UK together since March 2020.
