Singer Camila Cabello highlights liberating impact of body positive TikTok
American Singer, Songwriter Camila Cabello recently weighed in on the ‘liberating’ body-positive...
Matt Navarra, the well-known social media consultant, tweeted about a new feature in the application, which is nothing new among the social networking sites. An ephemeral post on TikTok that lasts 24-hours and disappears after the time specified.
The idea is already shared by Snapchat, Instagram, Facebook, Whatsapp, and Twitter etc. However, Twitter has recently discontinued the 24-hr long story feature, known as Fleets, but the idea doesn’t seem to stop here as other emerging social platforms are constantly working on introducing the same option.
To view Stories from other TikTokers, a user can scroll through the new sidebar and tap on the creator’s avatar to watch their content. The new pilot test looks exactly like that of Fleets’, in terms of the blue rings that form around the creators’ profile picture, whenever a new story is up.
Snapchat was the first social application that came up with the aforementioned feature; it revolves around sharing the temporary post publicly, as well as with close friends by maintaining ‘Streaks’.
