Zara Phythian, the Doctor Strange actor, has been placed in isolation at Foston Hall prison ‘for her own safety’ after being sentenced to eight years in prison for sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl.
The actor’s family believes that Phythian will appeal her sentence while raising concerns about her health.
A family insider told the Daily Mail, “She’s in a really bad way and has been kept in isolation for her own safety before being moved to a single cell.”
“Guards are checking on her every hour because she is on the verge of a nervous breakdown.” Andy (father) is eager to see her but must wait for his visitors pass,” the source added.
“She’s been crying down the phone to him and isn’t in a good mood,” an insider revealed.
Pythian and her husband, Victor Marke, were found guilty of abusing the adolescent victim in court.
Marke was also convicted of indecent assault on a second girl.
