Three-year-old boy tested positive for polio in North Waziristan

A new polio case has been reported in North Waziristan. The total number of children affected by the diseases reaches 56 this year.

A three-year-old boy has become the new prey of the crippling disease in the North Waziristan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to sources, children who have been affected by polio has never taken the anti-polio vaccine.

Two polio cases from Sindh and Balochistan has also been reported by the Health officials on June 21. The sources revealed those children have also never administrated the anti-polio vaccine.

According to the sources, a three-month-old infant in Balochistan’s Duki was tested positive for polio.

In Ghotki, Sindh a four-year-old boy was diagnosed with the disease.
