Ingredients for orange mousse
For orange sauce
- Take ¼ cup orange squash
- ½ tbsp. sugar
- ½ orange rind (zest)
- 1 tbsp cornflour dissolved in water
For mousse
- 1 cup roughly chopped white chocolate
- ¼ cup milk
- 1 tbsp powdered sugar
- 1 ½ cups beaten whipped cream
- 2 drops of orange color
For garnish
Take few orange segments
Instructions for making orange sauce
Combine all the aforementioned ingredients in a deep non-stick pan and cook on a medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes till the sauce becomes thick. Keep stirring. After it becomes thick, remove it from the flame and keep it aside.
Instructions for making orange mousse
At first, combine the chocolate and milk in a microwave-safe bowl. Keep the microwave on high for 30 seconds. Remove it and mix well until no lumps remain.
Strain the mixture using a sieve and keep aside.
After that, combine the sugar, beaten whipped cream, orange sauce, and orange color in a deep bowl and fold gently.
Now, add the chocolate-milk mixture and fold gently.
Now, pour equal quantities of the mixture into four individual bowls/glasses. Refrigerate for at least 3 to 4 hours.
Garnish it with orange segments. Your chilled orange mousse is ready!
