- Kimmel asked Malala Yousufzai about Harry Styles’s spitting incident at the 2023 Oscars.
- “I only work for peace,” she replied.
- Yousufzai was representing Stranger at the Gate at the event.
2023 Oscars host Jimmy Kimmel jokingly asked Malala Yousafzai about the rumored saliva-fueled feud between Chris Pine and Harry Styles on Sunday at the Dolby Theatre.
“Your work on human rights and education for women and children is an inspiration. As the youngest Nobel Prize winner in history, I was wondering, do you think Harry Styles spit on Chris Pine?” Kimmel, 55, read a purported fan’s query and deadpanned it.
Yousafzai told the host, to the laughter of her fellow audience members, “I only talk about peace.”
