Trump insists for 2019 Noble Prize
United States (US) President Donald Trump believes he was robbed by the 2019 peace Noble Prize.
He added that the Noble Prize unfairly awarded to Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed.
In a video clip, Trump told his supporters, at a campaign event in Toledo, Ohio, that he “saved a big war” but overlooked for the Nobel Peace Prize.
American journalist Aaron Rupar shared the video on Twitter.
Trump says he deserved Noble Prize and not Abiy Ahmed
Trump said, “I’m going to tell you about the Nobel Peace Prize, I’ll tell you about that. I made a deal, I saved a country, and I just heard that the head of that country is now getting the Nobel Peace Prize for saving the country.”

“What, did I have something to do with it?’ Yeah, but you know, that’s the way it is. As long as we know, that’s all that matters… I saved a big war, I’ve saved a couple of them,” said Trump.
President Trump referred to the 2019 peace prize winner, Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed.
However, the US president did not take Abiy’s name in his speech.
Abiy Ahmed, became Africa’s youngest head of government after coming to power in April 2018 following months of anti-government protests that had led to the resignation of his predecessor.
In October 2019, the Nobel Committee awarded the Nobel Peace Prize to the Ethiopian premier.
The award given on his efforts to end the country’s decade’s long conflict with neighbouring Eritrea.
