Saudi King’s brother and two other senior royal officials have been arrested. The reason for the measure is unexplained.

Two of the royal officials were considered the most influential figures in Saudi Arabia.

US media reported that the arrests had happened on Friday (Yesterday).

People arrested are the king’s younger brother Prince Ahmed bin Abdulaziz, former crown prince Mohammed bin Nayef, and a royal cousin, Prince Nawaf bin Nayef.

Mohammed bin Nayef was serving as an interior minister but Crown Prince removed him from his office and placed him under house arrest in 2017.
