On requirements for international approval of any Chinese coronavirus vaccine, a senior WHO official said on Monday that the World Health Organization (WHO) is working with China.

Mariangela Simao, assistant director-general told a briefing in Geneva that,

“WHO’s office in China and WHO headquarters has been working with the regulatory authorities in China. We are in direct contact, we have been sharing information and the requirements for international approval of vaccines.”

90% of the Chinese firm’s employees and their families have volunteered for testing the coronavirus vaccine developed by the country’s emergency use program, Sinovac Biotech Ltd’s chief executive said on Sunday.

According to the details, under the emergency program, the extent of vaccination launched by China in July has released a few details about how actively it is using experimental vaccines to protect the essential employees against coronavirus, even as trials are in process.
