A large-scale online test called ‘Cow Science’ has been announced in India next month.

The government says the move is being taken by the Hindu nationalist government to protect the ‘sacred’ animal.

According to the International Media Reports, the one-hour test will be held on February 25 in which besides children and adults, foreigners will also be able to participate, while the test will be conducted in Hindi, English and 12 regional languages. There will be multiple-choice questions.

The Rashtriya Kamdhenu Aayog (RKA), set up by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s administration to protect cows.

The Ministry of Fisheries and Animal Husbandry said, “Certificates will be given to all the participants in the examination while prizes will also be given to the successful candidates.”

“The subject of the cow is full of science and economics. People are not aware of the true economic and scientific value of this animal,” said RKA chief Vallabhbhai Kathiria.

The study material sent by the RKA to prepare for the test includes information on different breeds of cows, as well as the theory that slaughtering animals causes earthquakes.

It should be noted that in the Hindu-majority country of India, the cow is considered sacred, but under the rule of Narendra Modi, this animal has increasingly become a political and sectarian flashpoint.

Under Modi’s government, cows have been given top priority and millions of dollars have been invested in programs related to its protection, dung and urine research.

Officially, in many parts of the secular country, the slaughter of cows and the eating of their meat have been banned and the penalties have increased.

There have been several incidents of attacks on Muslims and lower-caste Hindus by extremist Hindu groups.
