AN IRANIAN woman has been accused of stabbing her online date in order to avenge the death of an Iranian military leader in an American drone strike in 2020.

Nika Nikoubin, 21, was charged with attempted murder after allegedly assaulting a man she met on a dating website while they were in bed together at a Las Vegas hotel, according to police.

Nikoubin and the unidentified man met on the dating website Plenty of Fish. After communicating online, the two agreed to meet on March 5 at the Sunset Station Hotel.

According to police, the two rented a room on the 14th floor of the hotel together. The pair began to have sex in the room.

According to police, Nikoubin turned off the lights and blindfolded the man while they were hooking up.

Nikoubin allegedly retrieved the knife from her purse and stabbed her date twice in the neck after covering his eyes. According to KLAS-TV, the man stated that he “felt a pain on the side of his neck.”

According to the police report, Nikoubin attacked this man as “revenge against US troops for the killing of Qassem Soleimani in 2020.”

In January 2020, American forces assassinated Soleimani, Iran’s top general, in a drone strike personally approved by Donald Trump.

According to authorities, when the man realised he’d been stabbed, he pushed Nikoubin off of him and ran out of the room to call the police.

According to police, Nikoubin chased him out of the room and told a hotel employee that she had just stabbed a man.
