The UK will increase its military aid to Ukraine, Prime Minister Boris Johnson stated in a phone discussion with President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Boris Johnson informed Mr. Zelensky that additional armored vehicles, drones, and anti-tank weaponry would be supplied to Ukraine, according to a Downing Street spokesperson.

Mr. Zelensky expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister for training over 20 Ukrainian servicemen who came to the UK last week.

This weekend marks two months since Russia invaded Ukraine.

Mr. Johnson also stated that the UK will reopen its embassy in Kyiv next week, as was previously promised.

The No 10 spokesman said this was a demonstration of “our support and solidarity with the Ukrainian people”.

Ukrainian soldiers undergoing training in the United Kingdom are being taught how to operate 120 armored vehicles that will be deployed to the resistance struggle against Moscow, the administration announced.

President Zelensky briefed Mr. Johnson on the situation in the Donbass, where Russia has recently concentrated its military operations. Both presidents denounced Russian forces’ continuous attacks on civilian targets, particularly in Mariupol, Odessa, and Lviv.
