Kyiv: Almost 1,300 citizens have been found dead

According to a police, 1,288 civilian bodies have been discovered in the Kyiv region since the Russian invasion began.

“We currently have the bodies of 1,288 persons that were killed. Civilians, I repeat, “According to the Interfax-Ukraine news agency, Andriy Nyebytov, the chief of the Kyiv Region Police,

“The majority of them were shot with automatic weapons,” Nyebytov said, adding that authorities continue to discover more graves of slain civilians in the area.

The equivalent total was just over 1,000 in late April.
