Putin has been humiliated by recapture of 1,015 seized positions in Ukraine

According to a regional governor, Ukrainian soldiers have initiated a counteroffensive in eastern Ukraine near the Russian-held town of Izium.

It might constitute a big setback for Moscow’s aspirations to establish complete control of the Donbas region.

“The Izium direction remains the hottest place,” regional governor Oleh Sinegubov said on social media.
