Cambodian PM Samdech Techo has set elections for July 23, 2023

• Cambodia’s National Assembly elections will be held on July 23, 2023.
• Every five years, the southeast Asian country holds general elections.
• The prime minister’s party won all 125 seats in the National Assembly in the most recent election on July 29, 2018.

PHNOM PENH: The seventh National Assembly election will be held on July 23, 2023, according to a resolution signed by Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen on Wednesday.

He stated that the “Minister in charge of the Council of Ministers, interior minister, economy and finance minister, all ministers, and heads of all relevant institutions must carry out this decision with high efficiency from the date of signature.”
