In the coming days, the United States will give Ukraine a new package of security aid totaling $800 million, including modern artillery systems, air defence systems, and ammunition, according to U.S. President Joe Biden.
At a news conference in Madrid following the NATO summit, the U.S. President stated, “In the next few days, we aim to announce more than $800 million more.”
He said the package would include new, cutting-edge air defence systems for Ukraine, more artillery and ammunition, counter battery radars, and extra ammo for the HIMARS systems that Ukraine has already received.
He further claims that more HIMARS systems are being imported into Ukraine from other nations.
According to reports, the United States has given the Ukrainian Armed Forces help of $6.1 billion since the start of the extensive Russian invasion of Ukraine.
