• The water levels in three shafts of a mine in Mexico suddenly surged on Sunday, delaying efforts to rescue 10 workers trapped inside.

Early on Sunday morning, a bus was the target of a gun incident in Jerusalem’s Old City that injured at least eight individuals, five of whom were Americans.
