UAE’s Emirates airline has announced the recruitment of 5,000 staff from six continents this year.

The airline’s hiring team is organizing open days and assessments in over 460 cities globally to bring together a diverse cabin crew. Once selected, the cabin crew members will undergo eight weeks of training at Emirates’ facility in Dubai.

The airline said in a statement “They develop the ability to work effectively in a multicultural team, the focus to stay mentally strong and calm under pressure, becoming bastions of hospitality and exceptional service, and ambassadors of an iconic brand.”

The hiring initiative is tailored for recent graduates entering the job market.

Emirates has extended invitations to fresh graduates with internships or part-time work on their resumes, those possessing at least one year of hospitality or customer service experience, and individuals interested in pursuing a career that involves global travel.

Emirates said that “The new recruits will be a part of the world’s largest international airline and one of the most iconic brands, plus they will learn hospitality and life skills from the best trainers in the business.”

The crew will travel the world across more than 140 cities in 76 countries and enjoy the entire gamut of benefits working as Emirates’ cabin crew, it added.
