The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques on Sunday announced the Ramadan plans for this year.

Sheikh Abdul Rahman Al Sudais, the President for the Affairs of the Holy Mosques, revealed the plans on Sunday via press briefing.

The plans were made to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus.

1- 10 Rakats of Taraweeh and Tahajjud will be led in the Haramain Sharifain this year with 3 Rakts Witr.

2- Worshippers will be allowed to pray in the King Abdullah Expansion, first floor, roof, and Courtyards.

3- Mataaf will remain closed to all except Umrah Pilgrims.

4- Umrah Pilgrims will not be allowed to touch the Ka’bah.

5- Iftar spreads will be suspended, instead, individual distribution will be conducted.

6- I’tikaf will not be allowed in the last 10 days.

7- Zamzam supply will remain suspended and will be supplied individually through personnel and bottles.

8- Permission to enter the Grand Mosque will only be allowed with valid permits issued via the Eatmarna App.
