By collecting 11,308 distinct Coca-Cola cans, a Canadian Coca-Cola enthusiast won a place in the Guinness Book of World Records.

When Gary Feng’s collection was tallied and proved to be more comprehensive than the previous record-holder, Italian man Davide Andreani, whose collection comprises 10,558 distinct Coke cans, he was declared the Guinness World Record holder for the greatest collection of soft drink cans (same brand).

Feng’s collection includes 1955 cans that were one of the company’s earliest, as well as commemorative cans from several decades of Olympic Games, including an ultra-rare can create for the 2016 Chicago Olympics, which never happened since Rio de Janeiro won the bid to host.

Cans particularly constructed for drinking in zero gravity for the 1985 Challenger space shuttle mission and a 1991 voyage to the Russian space station Mir are also included in the collection.

Feng told Guinness, “The Russian version is actually rarer. I believe many, many can collectors are dreaming of having this piece in their collection.”

Feng claims that he still doesn’t have his ideal Coke can since it doesn’t exist, “I would love to have a can with my picture on it. It would be great in my collection.”

On the other hand, when a British guy visited 51 pubs in 24 hours, he may have established a new Guinness World Record.

Guinness authorities notified Matt Ellis of St. Neots, Cambridgeshire, England, that there is currently no world record for the most pubs visited in 12 hours by one individual, so the record-keeping office set the aim at 50.

At each trip, Ellis claimed, he was obliged to have witnessed with him and consume at least 4.2 ounces of any beverage.

In 8 hours, 52 minutes, and 37 seconds, the bar enthusiast stated he visited 51 companies.
