WANA: The CCTV footage from the suicide attack at Cadet College Wana has been released, showing the terrifying moment of the explosion.
According to security sources, the footage captures how terrorists rammed an explosives-laden vehicle into the college’s main gate, causing a massive blast. The attack destroyed the gate and damaged nearby buildings.
Security officials confirmed that the attack took place on November 10 and was carried out by Afghan militants. Security forces responded swiftly and bravely, killing two of the attackers on the spot.
Officials added that this attack is part of ongoing efforts by anti-state elements to destabilize peace in the tribal areas. They said the terrorists who target innocent tribal children have no link to Islam, the tribes, or Pakistan’s prosperity.
Security forces have vowed to continue operations until every terrorist is eliminated and lasting peace is restored in the region.
