A decade after losing the love of her life, Céline Dion’s grief remains deeply felt. On January 14, the legendary singer marked 10 years since the passing of her husband and longtime manager René Angélil with an emotional tribute that reflected enduring love, loss, and remembrance.
The Because You Loved Me singer, 57, shared a poignant photo of Angélil’s portrait placed atop a piano in a sunlit room. Alongside the image, Dion wrote, “Mon amour, ten years without you feels like just a day, and yet each day feels like a decade.”
She continued, “Ten years without your caress, and yet every day I feel your touch. We miss you more than we can bear, but you taught us to be strong. We love you more, every day and every year.” The tribute was signed with love from their sons René-Charles, 24, and twins Nelson and Eddy, 15.

Dion and Angélil’s love story began when she was just 12 years old and auditioned for him. Their relationship later blossomed, leading to an engagement in 1993 and a grand wedding at Montréal’s Notre-Dame Basilica in December 1994. Together, they built both a family and one of the most successful careers in music history.
The couple welcomed three children René-Charles in 2001 and twins Nelson and Eddy in 2010.
René Angélil passed away from throat cancer on January 14, 2016, just two days before his 74th birthday. At the time, his family requested privacy as Dion mourned the man who shaped both her life and career.
