The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has issued a weather update for today, predicting dry conditions in most parts of the country.

However, a chill in the air and varying weather patterns are expected in different regions:

Cold Front in the North: The upper areas of the country will experience chilly weather.

Smog in Punjab: The plains of Punjab will see smog, with light fog expected in some places during early morning and evening hours.

Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir: The regions will remain cold and dry, with some cloud cover expected. A cold, dry day is anticipated in both areas.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Most districts will have dry weather, but cold conditions are likely in the upper parts.

Murree & Galyat: These hill stations are expected to stay dry and cold.

Sindh & Balochistan: Dry weather will continue, although the northern parts of Balochistan will feel colder.
