KARACHI: At least five people drowned while swimming at Manora Beach area of Karachi here on Wednesday.
The rescue teams immediately launched a search operation and managed to recover the bodies of two victims.
Rescue officials said the remaining three individuals were pulled out in an unconscious state and shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
Authorities added that it has not yet been confirmed whether all five individuals belonged to the same family.
